Installation & Training

TLJ will install your new electronic locks and access control with the minimum disruption to your day-to-day operations. The installation team will only leave your premises when your staff are fully trained on using the lock management system and associated access control software apps.

Our comprehensive installation service includes:

  • Supply and fitting of your electronic contactless locks
  • Commissioning of each lock
  • Installing and configuring your lock management software
  • Providing your staff with in-depth system training
  • Cleaning and tidying after ourselves!

TLJ’s installation engineers are experts in fitting your new electronic locks. Bespoke cut-outs are made in your doors to precisely accommodate your new lock hardware, and in the process completely masking old screw holes.

For access control readers, a full electrical installation is carried out. This includes wiring of the reader unit, magnetic door locks and exit buttons. Note that a 240v supply is required for us to install the TLJ Access Controller unit.

Every customer receives a TLJ First Aid Box containing emergency spares and parts. We’ve developed it to get you up and running again in the unlikely event of hardware failure. Full support on how to use our First Aid Box is given by our 24/7 Helpdesk.

All TLJ engineers carry valid Construction Skills Certification (CSCS) cards, and TLJ provide Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS) for all projects. We are also members of the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) and Safe Contractor. All installation and commissioning of our locks in the Republic of Ireland is carried out by PSA licensed contractors.
