TLJ - proud new members of the UKAA

An exciting new chapter opens in the story of TLJ Access Control, as we become proud members of the UK Apartment Association (UKAA)

The Assocation was founded in 2016 as in response to a growing awareness of the need for a single unifying body to the Build To Rent (BTR) sector and to the increasing levels of interest in BTR from many parties including central and local government, investors, operators and - above all - residents.

The UKAA is a Global Alliance Partner of the NAA (National Apartment Association) in the US. The NAA have been in existence for over 70 years and represent over 8.5 million rented units. It offers a wealth of experience and expertise in the US Multi-Family Housing sector, the equivalent of BTR in the UK.

TLJ are uniquely positioned to assist in the area of electronic locking and access control for modern BTR developments. Our multiple integrations with smart building systems providers, many of whom are UKAA members, allow our solutions to be tailored precisely to the needs of each individual development.

TLJ’s Marketing Director, Sean Wilson, said:

We’re hugely excited to be joining the UK’s only dedicated business network for those involved in BTR. The UKAA team are a great bunch of people to work with, and we see real value in the opportunities that membership represents. Unlike many such networks it is truly collaborative, and we anticipate working closely with our fellow members to enjoy the mutual benefits the UKAA offers.

We look forward to making significant contributions to the activities of the UKAA, not least at the Festival of BTR in November. This ground breaking virtual event will be a world-first, and we urge everyone with an interest in the sector to check it out and get involved.
