TLJ apprentice successfully completes UKATA course

Proud of our staff here at TLJ!

Lewis Wankiewicz, one of our electrical engineering apprentices, has successfully completed his first UKATA asbestos awareness e-learning course. As the UK’s leading body in the field of asbestos training, UKATA provide a number of courses across a wide range of applications.

As well as it being a requirement on older sites that contractors are asbestos-aware, we think it’s simply the right thing to do. Not only is it industry best practice, we strongly believe it helps safeguard our staff and reinforces our commitment to being a responsible employer.

Claire Gray, TLJ’s Health & Safety and Quality Manager, says:

Lewis is one of our younger staff members but has committed fully to the training. He passed the online assessment with flying colours and we have no worries about him being able to evaluate and cope with any asbestos hazards he encounters on site.

Well done Lew!
