TLJ apprentice repeats award success

Maybe it’s something in the water, but TLJ apprentices can’t seem to stop winning awards!

We’re proud to announce that our very own Lewis Wankiewicz has won the Hull Association of Engineers’ Jack Hutchcroft Apprentice Award 2019.

The award, sponsored by Hull Training and Adult Education, was presented to Lewis at the prestigious Hull Association Annual Student Awards dinner in Hull on Friday 1st March. It follows double success at the HTAE awards, which we reported on towards the end of 2018.

TLJ director Tony Martin said:

We couldn’t be happier for Lewis. This is the third major award he has won in the last few months, following his success at the HTAE awards in 2018. It’s truly deserved and a testament to his hard work and positive attitude, especially in the sometimes daunting environment of the construction industry. We’re proud to have Lewis on board and, as we’re committed to developing new apprentices, hope that he can act a role model and mentor. Well done from everyone at TLJ!

Lewis retains the silver platter until next year’s ceremony, when he will return to hand over the award to 2020’s winner.
